Tips: Compare AND Contrast Utilize specific evidence from the poem (quotes and

paraphrases). Focus on all comparisons first; then use a separate

paragraph to address the contrasts. Include an introduction paragraph which breaks down

the prompt AND includes a thesis as the last sentence. (Thesis: states what you will prove in the essay)
