4th Grade News By Eliana Ross, Gaby London and Daniella Brenner

This week in Mrs. Dubovick's 4th grade class, we

learned a song in our Dikduk workbooks for the 1st

time! We had our Ivrit list #3 and keywords tests.

We’re all adjusting to our new seats. We’re also very

excited that we finally have a new teacher—Ms. Karen

Benezra. We had our 2nd Rosh Chodesh store and it

is so exciting. We bought such cute prizes with our

stars that we earned all month! We all enjoyed

making our Sukkah guitar decorations and hanging

them in our Sukkah (see picture). Have a great

    DAY OF LEARNING

Thank you to David and Staci Margulis for

Thank you to Naomi and Eli Shicker for dedicating

Sunday’s learning, October 27—28 Tishrei, with

yeshuos He has given to our daughter, Nava

    Gavriella.

Thank you to The Levinson and Magence families for

    dedicating Monday’s learning, October 28—29

    recent yahrtzeit.

    MIDDOS MATTER CORNER

Arie Crown's Middos Matter school-wide initiative is

off to a great start! “Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be

    Safe” is our theme.

One of the key elements of a successful PBIS

program is the use of tokens. Tokens are designed to

reinforce positive behaviors in all areas of the school.

Teachers can reward Respectful, Responsible, or Safe

behavior by giving a student a token. Teachers can

give a token to ANY student at Arie Crown! Students

will put their tokens in any of the installed hallway

mailboxes, which can be found in all four wings of

the school. On Fridays, winners are randomly chosen

from among all of the tokens earned and will receive

a special prize from the administration! All classes

will participate in our next round of assemblies this

coming Monday, Nov. 4, at which students will be

introduced to our exciting token system! We will also

be setting whole school token targets with a prize for

the entire school when we reach our designated total

number of tokens. Check this Middos Matter corner

    for further details!

    * * * * * ALL STARS!! * * * * *

As part of our new Middos Matter program, teachers have

been writing positive referrals for students showing off

their Respectful, Responsible and Safe behaviors around

school. Every week, we randomly select 5 students from

the All Stars to see Rabbi Samber and receive a small

prize. Congratulations to last week's winners!

  • Dear Families,

The Box Tops for Education program is changing the way we can earn cash for our school!

Over the summer, participating brands have begun to change their packaging from the traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label.

Going forward, instead of clipping from packages and checking expiration dates, all Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt. The Box Tops for Education team has worked hard to build a NEW-and-improved, user-friendly Box Tops mobile app, available now.

The new app features state-of-the-art technology that allows you to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to our school's earnings online.

If you still have traditional Box Tops clips at home, make sure to send them to school. We will still earn cash for all clipped Box Tops until they expire. Better yet, you can “double dip” during the packaging transition by clipping traditional Box Tops AND scanning your store receipt containing participating products.

Thanks for helping our school get what it needs!

BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE NEW APP OR UPDATE YOUR EXISTING APP:
