Gold – Can you create three of your own questions about the text and ask someone in your family to answer them?
Writing Can you research Australian animals and write a set of top trump cards that you can play with your family. See template below. Think about what is included e.g. weight, height, speed etc.
Gold – Make a poster giving information about lots of different Australian animals, including where you would find them if you visited Australia.

Art/DT Can you create your own Australian aboriginal dot painting? Have a look at some of the traditional paintings to get some ideas. See
separate attachment for some template ideas. You might want to use a cotton bud to help get the perfect dots.

History/ Geography
Can you find out a little bit more about Australia and fill out the ‘All About Australia’ sheet? You could research yourself online or use the
PowerPoint to support you.
