If FCN/FCJ OPC server was previously installed go to slide 2 otherwise start at slide 19
Select Control Panel
Select Add or Remove Programs
Select Finish to restart windows
After reboot, select control panel
Select add/remove programs
Remove FCN/FCJ OPC Server
Right click My computer, select manage
Expand Local Users and Groups
Right Click and Delete
Right click my computer, select manage
Create user named “EXA”
Enter password “Yokogawa-1” and confirm
Options of “user cannot change password” and “password never expires” selected. Others,
unselected. Next select “Create”
Insert Install CD, select FCN/FCJ
Select FCN/FCJ OPC Server for Windows
Select Accept and Next
Enter User Name, Organization and CD Key
Select Yes to Restart
After reboot select control panel
Select Administrative tools
Right click on Exa Bossd service
Select Properties
Select Log On tab, this account, and browse
Enter “EXA” in “object name to select”
After “EXA” entry, select “Check Names”
Delete Current Passwords if filled
Enter Password of user “Yokogawa-1”, confirm password, apply, and ok
Select Component services
Expand Component services/computer/my computer and select DCOM Config
Select Detail filter
Scroll towards bottom to find 43309832
Right click and properties
Select Identity, This user and select browse
Enter “Exa” in “object name to select” and select “Check Names.
Verify user, select OK
Blank current passwords and enter “Yokogawa-1” and confirm
Select My computer
Select OPCDaServer
Right click file and open with Wordpad or Notepad
Enter Node identifier of RTU and IP address
After reboot open task manager and sort by image name
Scroll to the bottom to ensure ZOCBosSvc.exe and ZOPDA.exe are running by EXA user
From Programs, select Yokogawa Exa/ OPC Connect Confirm
Select ProgID Tab
Select Yokogawa.ExaopcDASTARDOMFCX from drop down ProgID
Select Start test
Confirm checkmarks are ok
