Gold or silver competencies can help set a company apart from the competition by demonstrating a proven skill set to potential customers. Consumers can easily identify a company’s capabilities and expertise because Microsoft is aligned.

VISION AND OBJECTIVES

Put "a computer on every desk and in every home.“

"Create a family of devices and services for individuals and businesses."

Microsoft wants to be more like Apple on the consumer and devices front, and more like Google and Amazon on the services front.

My strategy on Microsoft vision would be ;

Survey of consumer expectation for mobile.

Like apple, launch well featured mobiles, with enormous applications and less price.

Research and development on Microsoft website (Google) and Microsoft online shop (Amazon).
