• The mission of the company is to create an enhanced economy through the use of our ocean, our very own resource. We are to manufacture our resources through chains of workforce by machines and people. We are going to introduce our product with style and with quality with satisfying low prices.

• The vision of MTC is to spread our products throughout the world as much as possible and to see to it that we make profit and more to develop our economy through health and safety. We want to see to it that the company expands to stay strong so people can have a reliable place to obtain high quality products with low prices.

• The company ownership will of course be a partnership.

Product and Service

• Canned tuna in vegetable oil will be served.

• Canned tuna in soy sauce and spices.

• Tuna in a pouch will be served and pet food.

Location

• Processing factories and exporting facilities will be stationed in Deketik while the vessels will spend most of its time on the island of Ant for it is a good location for the advantage of the open ocean while the exporting is next to the airport for airfreight use.

Base Operations

• We will have a stable stronghold; we would like to start off with 35 long liners

• In confidence of our company we will obtain more vessels for the catching process.

• Our bases will be served as the maintenance and supply department for other vessels.

Distribution Methods

• We will create business relations with a reliable airline for airfreight shipping and exporting.

• We will establish a firm agreement for sure airfreight and transshipment.

Food Processing

• We will meet the demands and the wants of our valued customers.

• We will operate two plants in Pohnpei.

• We will be looking forward to setting up other plants throughout the F.S.M

• Food processing will require clean and safe work area where workers will be in full working attire.

Time of Work

• There will be no closing hours so there will be appearance of success.

• The day time’s catch will be the night’s processing and the night’s catch will be the day’s processing.

• So we can have enough product to offer our customers.

• We will be targeting small companies at first in search of high quality and low priced tuna

• We will also be assisting Japanese and Chinese restaurants with fresh tuna meat and processed tuna for their different menus or dish for the variety of ways they serve tuna as a meal.

Competitor

• Luen thai company serves meat as it is and carried to other areas to manufacture them. This is and advantage for our company for we catch and process it rather than catch and sent it off to be processed.

Start-up Costs

• The vessels alone are worth around 1.5 million

• The machines and the factory will be worth about 2.5-3 million.

• Then we will cover the wages of the employees so the starting costs will be around 5.5 million dollars
