BMUSA

BMUSA Banana Waste Recycling Plant, with indoor area of 1900 m2 on 17 acres of land, was established with the valuable contributions of Alanya Municipality and the grant support provided by Antalya Provincial Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. The main purpose of the plant is to produce solid and liquid, organic and microbial fertilizers from banana tree trunks and branches after the fruit has been consumed. Banana is widely consumed in Turkey.

Capacity of the Plant: 2736 tons / year Solid Fertilizer, 7056 tons / year Liquid Fertilizer.

Total Investment Cost: 10 million TL / 2018

PRODUCTION PROCESS• The equipment used in the production processof BMusa microbial fertilizers was designed by engineers considering the latest technological developments.

• Hygiene and biological safety are always a priorityduring production.

• Products carefully produced in our fully equippedmicrobiology laboratory are made under control of our microbiology specialists for all processes starting from the first stage of production.

• Liquid bacteria carrier used in microbial fertilizers(habitat of bacteria in the fertilizer) is a special formula that protects bacteria until the use of fertilizer.

• The main component - banana stem juice - isproduced from banana stems which are considered waste. During production process, after going through technological and sterilization processes in our banana stem juice plant, all wild bacteria, fungal diseases, parasites and so on are purified.

• All these processes increase efficiency, quality andshelf life of fertilizers.

Fermentation Method

Implementation of multiplying bacteria in the product. Fermentation is carried out as follows: 1 liter of product is mixed with 100 liters of well water and 1 kg of sugar and applied for at least 8 hours.

Product Application

Seed Application:

The seeds are immersed in the product or the solution prepared by fermentation method. The seeds are dried in the shade for at least 8 hours without exposure to sunlight.

Seedling or nursery application:

Seedling roots are immersed in the product or the solution prepared by fermentation method. The remaining bacterial solution in the tank can be diluted enough for all trees and given 1-2 liters per tree.

Direct soil application:

Solution prepared by fermentation method is sprayed onto soil surface by a low pressure pulverizer or given directly to the roots by lower or upper irrigation systems. This method is particularly recommended.

Foliar Application

Should be applied at night when the plant stomas are open. Do not apply in cool and windy weather.

Bacteria isolates in BMusa Microbial Fertilizers are chosen carefully from areas of Turkey inhabited by culture and wild plants and tested as necessary. Bacteria in BMusa Microbial Fertilizers are isolates capable of fixing nitrogen and dissolving phosphate. They create a colony in the roots of the plants and transform the nitrogen in atmosphere into ammonia fixing it. They produce different organic acids thus dissolving phosphates putting it into form easily consumed by the plant.

In addition, they facilitate the intake of iron, dissolve calcium and produce Phyto pheromones. Thus, it promotes growth in plants and reduces the negative effects of stress and especially water and temperature stress. BMUSA ANTI SALTORGANIC ACID COMPLEX

BMusa AntiSalt, which is produced as Organic Acid Complex, converts the lime in soil to calcium that can be absorbed by the plant and lowers the PH of limewater. Calcium foliar fertilizer is not needed.

In soils with drip or release irrigation, due to continuous and unconscious use of fertilizer or different reasons there occurs an accumulation of salt and lime. In these cases, it is very difficult for the plants to get nutrients from the soil or it does not occur at all. It helps the iron, zinc and phosphorus to be absorbed by the plant. BMusa Anti-Salt must be applied to the soil before fertilization in order to ensure the solubility of the plant nutrients present in the soil and to obtain the desired result from the fertilizers given to the soil in the best way possible.
