Staff and faculty relocating to the East Lansing area or experiencing life events that require temporary housing are invited to stay at either Spartan Village apartments or the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.

Visiting scholars requiring housing during their time at MSU are invited to stay in either of the following guest housing locations, depending on the duration of their stay:

Apply at liveon.msu.edu/sites/default/files/SV FacStaffApp.pdf. Once accepted, you’ll be assigned a space based on move-in date and be asked to pay an $800 initial rent payment to secure the space.

Located in Michigan State’s beautiful River Trail Neighborhood, Owen also places guests near the Red Cedar River Trail and the shops and restaurants of Grand River Avenue.
