Mobile phones almost outnumber humans and impact all areas of our lives. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) have come together in a groundbreaking programme which will use mobile technology to improve health delivery systems for NCDs. A panel will discuss how recent technological innova- tions are changing the health care context for NCDs, providing the global community with new opportunities for prevention and control using a technology everyone already has in their pockets. Speakers include Ministers of Health from various countries, relevant health experts, and WHO and ITU representatives. PARTICIPATION IS OPEN TO ALL. Sandwiches will be available.
