Vice-Chancellor’s Message

In order to be a successful and competent

professional, you have to develop certain essential

talents. Some of these are: humanity, sincerity,

honesty, integrity, compassion benevolence,

patience, thirst for knowledge capacity to work hard,

good communication skills, expertise in management

leadership qualities, team spirit, respect for your

teachers and above all a resolute commitment to

serve mankind willingly. You have to become a role

model for others by observing clean personal habits,

so that others can follow you. For example, if you

are a smoker, your advice to others to give up

smoking will carry no weight

MGM School of Biomedical Sciences at Navi

Mumbai & Aurangabad will help you realize your

dreams of becoming good scientists. Both Colleges

are located in beautiful, eco-friendly campuses.

Hostels are within the campus. Excellent

infrastructure has been provided with state-of art

equipments, laboratories, computers, class rooms,

teaching aids and libraries. Highly qualified teaching

faculty with long years of experience will guide you

to learn the art and science of biomedical subjects

with love and care. Each College has a large hospital

attached, within the campus. Patient workload is

very high. So you will have plenty of clinical

laboratory work-load to hone your skills. New

students are looked after by their seniors. Ragging is

strictly prohibited and is a criminal offence. So no

one dares to indulge in this despicable practice.

Both the Colleges are managed by the MGMIHS,

Trust. Members of the Trust are highly committed

and well qualified professionals (doctors and

engineers) who established developed and nurtured

this institution. By selecting this institute, you have

made the right choice to get quality education.

Wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors.

Dr. S.N. Kadam, FRCP (Edin).

Vice Chancellor

Dear Applicant,

Compliments

I would like to give you a brief outline of the career

you are planning to enter.

Becoming a graduate/postgraduate /doctorate is much

more than getting degree. It is a way of life. You

indirectly help the sick and the wounded to recover as

fast and as completely as possible. You educate the

members of your community how to remain healthy and

how to prevent diseases. Three years of grueling hard

work arms you with adequate knowledge and skills to be

part of state-of -art laboratory to understand diseases

process. By relieving pain and suffering of patients, you

earn their immense gratitude and goodwill. It is probably

the noblest of all deeds one can do.

As a doctorate, you may become a research scholar or

a University Teacher, if you like to be one. . You could

be a future Medical Scientist or an innovator of repute.

Scope for rise in the career is immense and sky is the

limit. It is totally dependent upon your capacity to work

hard, to acquire knowledge, to learn new skills and to

excel in the particular field that interests you.
