Mexican Night at Tec de Monterrey

Food fair

• There were several small shops with a variety of Mexican food like: tamales, enchiladas, sopes, tostadas and of course tacos.

• There were also Mexican drinks (no alcohol) like: flavored water and atole.

• Mexican snacks could also be found like: esquites and churros.

Mexican music by the choir of the singing workshop

• Students of the singing workshop performed different Mexican songs to parents, teachers and students of the campus.

Mariachi• In a Mexican night there could not be missed

the mariachi, typical of Mexico.• The mariachi sang lots of songs well known by

the Mexicans, making people sang a long with them in some occasions.

Mexican dance

• There were Mexican dances from various regions of the country performed like from Veracruz- “la bamba”, to mention one.

Presentation of the campus queen candidates

• The queen of the campus represents and promotes the values of the institution through ethics and citizenship projects.

• During the Mexican night the queen candidates where presented, they also performed a dance and of course each one presented her project.
