23% and 20 % travel between 25-35km and 15-25km,thus metro isprofitable to travel longer distanceLonger distance travelled means it is mostly used by middle class orbusiness class.Workers travel shorter distance and their percentage is 23 which islow, thus equity in metro becomes doubtful.

Above 8 kilometers Rs.10.00
Stage Carriages Metro Feeder Bus owned and operated by Delhi Metro RailCorporation (DMRC):
Thus , we can see from the feeder bus charges, it is not suitable for workers who canafford public bus on much lower fare. Poor class thinks about cost not the comfort. Therefore, Metro is not equitable to all.

CONCLUSION
The average cost for one trip is approximately Rs 20. This indicates that metro isunfeasible for short trips, it also justifies for high %age of people travelling with incomemore than 5000 (55%)Talking in terms of the trips majority are longer trips, with the average length being 10 -15 km. This indicates that majority of the users belong to MIG and HIG as the lowerincome groups primarily make short trips.A major chunk of commuters are students.
But the train ensures the safety and comfort of passengers with hi-tech compartmentshaving adequate security cover, provisions for special care for handicaps and seniorcitizens with escalators and lifts in place.Considering factors of security and facilities present at the station, well satisfied responseis achieved. But
Overall it can be said that equity in is not yet achieved in case of blue line route of themetro rail.
