This method uses less time in seeding

Row-seeded

This is done either  constr ucting a furr ow spacedaccor ding to planned weed contr ol method (20-40cm) then rice seeds ar e br oadcast into the furr ows and followed by a light harr owing to cover  theseeds. Harr owing cause the seeds to f all intofurr ows thus, cr eating a r ow-seeded rice. Or  theseeds ar e drilled dir ectly into the furr ows and

cover ed by light harr owing. This method allows flexibility in using either mechanical or manualweeding.

Seeding rate range f r om 80-200 kg seeds per  

hectar e. Higher  seeding rate can be used toincr ease rice competitiveness against weeds, 

however, it may not necessarily incr ease yield.
