Your task at hand!

In your small groups ( I’ve assigned), you must develop your own persuasive defense or admonishment of your assigned survey statement.

In order to be persuasive it’s best to apply all three rhetorical appeals (Ethos, Pathos, and Logos)

How should you convey your message?

That is entirely up to you and your group! You might develop a script and

scene. You might develop a print ad/ bill

board. You might develop a commercial.

Don’t feel confined by these options. If you think you can effectively complete your task through a different method, let me know!

Materials at your disposal Markers, paper, crayons, scissors,

glue Dictionaries, thesauruses Magazines EACH OTHER!!!

While watching presentations You must record- examples of Ethos,

Pathos, and Logos used by the presenting group

You must also identify whether or not the group effectively persuaded their intended audience. What elements worked extremely well What could have been more effective–

provide a suggestion.
