VOL.19, ISSUE 3 THE MUNDELEIN PARK & RECREATION DISTRICT MARCH 2020 HOURS Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm BOOK TALK March 13 Manhattan Beach Jennifer Egan April 3 The Radium Girls Kate Moore Message from Marissa We are finally starting to get into some of the new programming I have planned for 2020. In March we have the Patrick and the Saints of the Emerald Isle luncheon to look forward to. There are some great trips like Four Winds Casino and the Milwaukee Fish Fry. We have also booked some exciting trips for warmer weather such as the San Filippo Place De La Music in May and Cantigny Park in June. We will continue having First Responders Breakfasts at the end of each month to keep the community educated and updated on what our first responders are up to. McDonald’s of Mundelein generously donated our breakfast for the Firefighters talk in February. Chick- fil-A will be providing our breakfast in March while the Sheriff’s Department speaks to us. There is no fee for these presentations; we just ask that you sign up ahead of time so we know how many people to prepare for. If there is anything you wish to see us plan in the future, see Marissa or Sue with your suggestions. We do our best to implement as many suggestions or requests as possible. Four Winds Casino Resort Monday, March 23, 9 am–6 pm Cost: $45 member/$54 nonmember Program: 0003.23.1 Register by March 16 Join us as we spend the day in New Buffalo, MI at the beautiful Four Winds Casino.
