FROM HOD’S DESK
Greetings to friends and
faculty!
As the new semester of
the college academic
year unfolds, we would
do well to reflect on a
number of important and exciting developments
at our department in the past years. One of the
more exciting announcements in this news-letter
is the news that the 1st
National Conference On
Advancements in Communication,
Computing and Electronics Technology
[ACCET-2014] is scheduled on March 28-29,
2014.
In E&TC, at MESCOE, we all strive hard to
impart not only good quality of technical
education to our future engineers, but also
inculcate good moral values in them, so that they
will become a good human being and contribute
towards betterment of our country .
Our department also sees to it that departmental
staff knowledge level is maintained at par with
industry people by conducting workshops for
them.
This newsletter is an insight into what we have
done in last semester. Working with our
wonderful community of students and staff , we
will make 2014-15 a year to remember.
Prof. P. B. Chopde
HOD, E&TC
FROM THE EDITOR‟S DESK
As the new editor of this
Newsletter I welcome all the
readers and contributors. The
Newsletter will go on as before
with a few minor change. One
of the more exciting
announcements in this news-letter is the news
that the 1st
National Conference On
Advancements in Communication, Computing
and Electronics Technology [ACCET-2014] is
scheduled on March 28-29, 2014. In this
newsletter, we have reported significant
achievements of the students, and faculties,
campus news and events, and the placement
scenario have also been emphasized.
Could ignorance ever be blissful? Yes and No.
But, it can ill-afford to replace the discursive
range of necessary information towards which
we endlessly strive, day-in day-out, to make the
cut in our respective areas of interest. There is
forever this urge „to know‟. For to know is to
feel and to feel is to hit upon the realization to
outgrow and outperform, to overcome the set
limits that hold us back. With a pristine purpose
of presenting all that transpired in a marked
period of time, we are coming forth with our
semesterly newsletter to help our readers to
embark upon the bandwagon of informative,
educative and creative impulses. All workshops,
seminars, events etc are voiced in a delectable
assortment of multifarious musings that aspire to
work as a binding for growth and development
of the whose who of MESCOE‟s E&TC.
I am pretty hopeful that the reading would be
rewarding to the readers as it would serve as a
verdant landscape of technical and non technical
activities that support as encouragement and a
peep into for the sake of exposure and
expansion.
The small initiatives that we take go a long way
in building upon the edifice of knowledge and
enterprise that empowers and emboldens. I am
thankful to Principal Prof. Dr. A.A. Keste, Vice
Principal Prof. A. J. Hake, HOD E&TC Prof. P.
B. Chopde for their unstinting support and the
faculties and students for their enthused efforts
to help this newsletter come alive.
I dedicate this issue to all aficionados of good
work.
