PRINCIPAL’S REPORT

Thank you to those families who let us know they are following our communication channels. This helps us to

know that you are getting the information coming to us from the Dept. of Education & the Dept. of Health.

Yesterday there was a livestream to principals from Mark Scott, Secretary of the Dept. of Education.

There was a clear message that schools are an essential service and are still open for those families who

need the school to provide supervision to their children. Schools were given information about the kind of

'distance education' we are to set up over the coming days that can be accessed at home or face-to-face for

children who come to school.

Staff are putting together bodies of learning that are the same at school and at home. Every child will be given

packs by Friday which will contain some materials and log ins. More information to come on when and how

these packs can be picked up. Teachers will be in touch with students who have not signed in or are having

trouble signing in. If you do not have access to a laptop / iPad at home, can you please advise the school

office by phone or email.

need to physically come to school office. Our Office staff are working very hard and appreciate your patience

at this time.

Uniform shop will reduce hours and only operate on Tuesdays from 8.30am-9.15am .

Canteen update:

After today the canteen will not operate onsite but will still operate as a delivery service

All orders MUST be placed in the morning and will be delivered to school office at recess and lunch

All items on menu will still be available

Students must have ‘correct’ money in an envelope. No change given.

Before / After school care and Vacation care:

This service is still running as usual.

Care and Share packs:

65 care packs went home last week to families in our community. Any families wanting a Care and Share

pack please contact the office. Packs will be available Friday for pick up. Please watch Skoolbag for the

notification.

If you are not already signed up to our Skoolbag app,

please do so as soon as possible, to receive the many

regular updates we are sending out to our community.

Recently I sent a video message which I hope reached

many of you. If you are having any problems signing up
