Sanjeev Gupta - Managing Director, NEXGEN Financial Solutions

Mr. Sanjeev Gupta has more than 20 years of experience in Merchant Banking, Corporate Finance & Advisory. He has to his credit more than Rs. 50,000 Cr of Fund Raising (including Equity and Debt) during his stints with various companies in last 20 years. He has successfully raised funds both in India and outside India.

He is a Chartered Accountant and has also been trained in due-diligence, private equity, valuation of enterprise and venture capital industry in Singapore. He has worked with various investment

banking and merchant banking companies at important positions including NEXGEN Capitals Limited as MD, Allianz Securities Ltd as ED and RR Financial Consultants Ltd as Sr. VP.

Besides fund raising, he has spearheaded the Global Advisory Mandate on behalf of Government of Punjab and has also been a part of ‘World Bank Advisory Team’ formed in association with Pradeshiya Industrial & Investment Corporation of Uttar Pradesh (PICUP).

Mr. T R Prashanth Kumar, CEO of Karvy Investment Banking, is an Investment Banker with experience of almost 30 years in public and private sector investment banks. He has good domain expertise in financial services. Through his career he has held various positions in the investment banking divisions of leading investment banks viz., BOB capital Markets Ltd, Enam Securities (now Axis Capital), SBI Capital Markets, Karvy Investor Services, Edelweiss Capital and IL&FS Invest smart (now HSBC Invest Direct). Rajesh Doshi - Principal Founder, Steer Advisors

A Fellow Company Secretary and Law Graduate from India and a Fellow Chartered Secretary from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of U.K., Mr. Rajesh Doshi is the Principal Founder of Steer Advisors.

Sachit Jolly is a senior member of the Firm’s Taxation Group. Mr. Jolly has earned his LL.B. from Amity Law School, Delhi has been practicing Taxation Laws for over 5 years. Sujoy Bhatia - Partner, J. Sagar Associates

Sujoy has extensive experience in the setting up of Joint Ventures in India in sectors such as Insurance, Defence and Manufacturing. His experience includes representing foreign investors as well as Indian companies in such Joint Ventures. Sujoy has worked with various governmental authorities in setting up Insurance and Defence Joint Ventures and has assisted clients in meeting the various requirements imposed by such authorities.

Sujoy has also assisted multinational corporations with their Indian investments, including assisting in restructuring their existing investments. Some of his key clients include Expedia and Markit. Sujoy has recently been involved in the restructuring of the South-East Asian businesses of a global insurance company which involved liaising with regulators, local business units across South-east Asia and the client’s partners in each country.

Another aspect of Sujoy’s work has been private M&A and Private Equity investments. He has assisted clients from the inception of the acquisition, contributed during negotiations and helped in completion of the transaction.
