Menzies Art Brands Outstanding results since 1998. The premier brand Deutscher~Menzies conducted its first auction in April 1998. Founded by Rod Menzies and Chris Deutscher, Deutscher~Menzies' arrival on the local stage was perceived as a bold and brave step that would see them compete with a long established Australian art auction scene. At the time many commentators questioned the company's ability to survive its first year. At the end of 2006 the company was restructured and under the leadership of Executive Chairman Rod Menzies, Menzies achieved their most successful sales on record. In 2007 Menzies Art Brands doubled their 2006 turnover, making it the most successful year in the company's history. weeks before the date of each sale, or you can
subscribe to the published catalogue or purchase it
at our offices. An email notification can be sent to

of artworks illustrated. We always recommend that
you make time to view the artworks prior to the

BUYING & SELLINGViewings
Pre-sale viewings for all of our auctions are open to the public and may be attended at no charge. All works of art to be auctioned is usually on view for several days prior to the sale. You are encouraged to examine each lot thoroughly and to request condition reports. Menzies Art Brands specialists are available to give advice at all viewings or by appointment.

If you are considering selling an artwork, Menzies will provide a free initial estimate of your artwork's value. Our specialists can appraise Australian and International works of art in all mediums. Note: Menzies is a secondary market for artworks, so we cannot value new work by artists currently working and/or exhibiting.
