Steps to Church + MCCH partnership

1. Conduct a survey of marriage and family needs with qualified couples who fall under the seven stages of the family life.

2. Simultaneously train church leaders and couples who are called by God to mentor parents, using survey results.

3. Pray with church leaders and help them make the commitment to launch or strengthen their family ministry.

4. Develop a support group for mentor couples so that they can pray for and encourage one another to be faithful and effective in their mentoring ministry.

5. Set a timeline with church leaders that leads up to the church’s self-sufficiency in carrying out its mentoring and family ministry.

Year One: Christ-centered Life

• Mentees learn to be devoted and obedient to Christ.

• Mentees grow in their emotional health so that they are able to use Christ’s incarnation as a model for loving well.

How to benefit from MCCH Mentoring

Year Two: Christ-centered Home• Parents learns to be transforming family

leaders to disciple their children for their moral development and to build a bond of love with them.

• Parents are trained to help their children to deal with temptation; realize their value to God; and recognize and resist ungodly spiritual influences.

Year Three: Christ-centered Church

• Pastor/s and elders participate in developing transforming church leadership training process that is contextualized to their church culture, vision and mission.
