• MENDELU was founded

in 1919 as the University of Agriculture

in Brno

• The oldest independent University of its kind in the Czech Republic

• In 1994 the University changed its name to Mendel of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno after the famous

father of genetics - Gregor Johan Mendel

• In 2010 the name was again changed to

Mendel university in Brno

• Almost 11 000 students including

350 international students

MENDEL UNIVERSITY IN BRNO

FRDIS was established in 2008 and it is the youngest faculty at MENDELU.

There are about 1200 students currently studying at both the Bachelor and Master levels

I am working at the study department of the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies, as carrier adviser for both Czech and international students.
