SOFTBALL NSW PRESIDENT’S WELCOME

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Softball NSW, I extend to you a warm welcome to the 2019 Under 18 Men’s State Championship to be held at Blacktown International Sportspark.

To all participating players, congratulations on your selection to represent your association. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and time to represent your sport at this level and for that we congratulate you. We are sure each and every one of you will compete at the highest standard, and make your supporters, and team officials proud.

To the players that are selected after the State Championships to attend state camps I wish you all the best during the selection process.

To all officials, a special thanks. It is your contribution of knowledge, time and dedication to our sport which will ensure all teams compete at this championship with determination and humility.

Thank you to all our umpires for giving up your time for this event. We are sure your skills in calling the game fairly will be on display. Your knowledge of the game is of the utmost importance and we thank you. Thanks to all the supporters here this weekend, for your commitment to our sport. You help to enhance the atmosphere and make these events great. To the parents of participating players, thankyou for your time and commitment to your child’s development and improved knowledge of softball. They couldn’t do it without you.

Our thanks are also extended to our many volunteers for helping in making this event successful.

Competing at a state championship is a great achievement and we would like to wish you all GOOD LUCK and well done to all for your time and commitment to your association.
