Dear Mayor and Council Members:

This notice is to inform our Bright House Networks customers of upcoming changes to their cable programming lineup.

Bright House Networks utilizes a new digital video delivery technology known as Switched Digital Video (SDV). SDV is a robust bandwidth management system that makes it possible to offer more digital video programming services than before including new HD channels. To be able to offer more new video services, Bright House Networks wil l be moving some existing programming services to the new SDV system as well as adding new services on the SDV system.

On or after January 10, 2014, the following services wil l be added to the SDV system. Effective on or after January 10, 2014, i f you are a Starz package customer, you may need to exchange your digital converter for a different model in order to receive these new HD channels:

Starz Comedy HD East Starz Edge HD East Starz in Black HD East Starz Family HD East Starz Cinema HD East

Premium Channel 1472 Premium Channel 1467 Premium Channel 1469 Premium Channel 1470 Premium Channel 1471

When delivered on the SDV system, these channels wil l become a bi-directional (or two-way) service and wil l be available to all Bright House Networks customers who subscribe to our digital services and lease a digital converter or similar bi-directional device capable of supporting two-way services.

On or after February 11, 2014, Zap2it wil l no longer be carried on analog channel 97. However, Zap2it will remain on channel 97 in digital format for customers with digital adapters.

Customers who do not have digital adapters may contact Bright House Networks to obtain this device.

From time to time our agreements with cable channels and television stations come up for renewal. While we do not anticipate any loss or disruption of service, regulations require us to notify you of the possibility of losing programming. Therefore, please be advised that our agreements with Ecuavisa, Gol TV, MLB Extra Innings, MLB Strike Zone, Music Choice (MC), NHL Center Ice, NHL Network, Once TV Mexico, WAPA America, Youtoo, and Zap2it remain in effect on a month-to-month basis, but we may have to cease carriage in all formats i f our authority to continue is withheld. Also, our agreements with BET, Centric, Comedy Central, Fox Life, Logo, MLB Network, MTV, MTV2, MTV Hits, MTV Jams, MTV tr3s, Nick Jr., Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Palladia, Spike, TeenNick, TV Land, VH-1, and VH-1 Classic expire on December 31, 2013 and we may have to cease carriage in all formats i f our authority to continue is withheld. Bright House Networks may cease carriage of WGN America on or after January 1, 2014. Additionally, our agreement with YES Network expires on January 31, 2014 and we may have to cease carriage in all formats i f our authority to continue is withheld.
