RUSSELL BUILDING FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE Over the past ten years, Manda Yakiwchuk has studied, lectured and pracced in the field of architecture and landscape architecture. She has been involved in an ongoing body of research that explores the creaon of interacve environments. Both her personal studies and professional pracce are informed by her research and have shaped her interacve public installaons and architecture. Manda has experience working in the UK, Iceland, Canada and the USA. Currently residing in New York City, Manda Yakiwchuk works as a Lead Landscape Designer for !melk landscape architecture and urban design. She has also served as a Project Coordinator on several prominent internaonal projects. In this alumni lecture series, Manda will discuss her journey over the past several years from the University of Manitoba, into the architectural climate of New York City. She will feature both local NYC and internaonal projects, and will discuss the office’s process work from concepon through to compleon.
