Eaton’s truck transmission business in India has extensive capabilities ranging from designing and application development to manufacturing, marketing and service support for its 6-speed & 9-speed transmissions. Through an expanding portfolio of products and solutions that include 6-speed and 9-speed manual transmissions, hybrid solution on CNG engine platform, automated manual transmissions (AMT) for vocational applications and clutches for extremely niche and demanding applications, Eaton is fast emerging as a partner of choice for leading OEMs in the commercial vehicle industry in India.

Eaton’s Filtration business in India manufactures / assembles the hydraulic and oil lubrication segment of products catering to power generation (both conventional & non-conventional), marine/shipyard, primary metals, material handling, machine tool, construction, agriculture industries and respective OEMs. Eaton’s contamination, fluid conditioning products coupled with large offerings of high pressure, return, change-over and ASME compliant filter assemblies ensure that we cover the length and breadth of the industry requirements as a single stop solution provider.

In the oil & gas segment, Eaton’s sea water & pipeline strainers have been a huge success among numerous customers globally. Eaton India Engineering Center: Decade of Engineering Excellence

Eaton India Engineering Center (EIEC) in Pune is Eaton’s largest integrated, multidisciplinary research, development and engineering center outside the USA. The central purpose of EIEC is to drive growth for Eaton by providing engineering solutions using pertinent technologies to develop new products and support existing products.

Today, technologists, engineers and designers work in virtual teams with their counterparts from Eaton’s Aerospace, Electrical, Hydraulics and Vehicle businesses and the Corporate Research & Technology (CRT) teams spread across the globe.

EIEC is the “One Eaton” engineering campus focused on building leadership and technical capabilities to leverage the local ecosystem ‘In the Region, For the Region’ for innovation and technology development.

EIEC team is engaged in designing and developing systems and components for hydraulic & fuel pumps, valves, actuators, hoses & connectors, vehicle transmissions, clutches, superchargers, torque control products, electronic control units, communication hardware and power management software. EIEC has developed centers of excellence in Modeling and Simulation, Embedded Systems, Safety, Reliability & Sustainability and Intellectual Property. The center also hosts in-house testing capabilities within the facility.
