Megan Sunkel Woodworth
Megan Woodworth joined Dickstein Shapiro LLP in September 2003 as an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice. She rejoined the Firm in September 2007, after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Kimberly A. Moore on the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ms. Woodworth focuses her practice on patent law, including patent litigation, opinion work, and all aspects of patent prosecution.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Ms. Woodworth worked as a summer associate at Dickstein Shapiro in 2002. In 2003, she joined Dickstein Shapiro’s Intellectual Property Practice. In 2006, she left the Firm to clerk for the Honorable Kimberly A. Moore on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. As a law clerk, Ms. Woodworth worked on a variety of cases within the Court’s jurisdiction, including patent and trademark-related appeals from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and district courts throughout the country.

Ms. Woodworth is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia (2004) and Maryland (2004). She also is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ms. Woodworth became a registered patent agent with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in December 2002.
