The risen Lord journeys with us• Jesus came alongside those travellers and had the

patience to listen to their story and their sorrow• The church embodies that care• We are to care for and come alongside each other in

the journey of faith.

The risen Lord meets us in worshipWord• The apostles continued to

make Jesus known through the ministry of the Word.

The risen Lord waits to transform us• To make known to the world our risen Lord, so that

the world might be transformed.• Removing the veil• “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the

Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Sunday expecting to meet the risen Lord.
