monument marks a major cultural change
e) Visit of the “exotic” collections to show that Europe is open onto the world (good and bad side of this
with the risk of pillaging) ; to show that Europe was at the heart of human science progress (invention
of History, Egyptology, ethnology … ) and show that Europe still plays an important role nowadays
f) For a visit of a thematic museum (for examples: the impressionists, Rembrandt museum …), during
the workshops, students could analyze and observe the impact of an artistic movement on the world
through the number of paintings and artists in museums not situated in Europe and through its
weight in the Art Market.
