Cécile Cremer is the ambitious founder of Wandering the Future. Graduated at the Academy for Creative Industries, where she is still working today, she was one of the first five graduates in Europe with a recognized bachelor in international trend research and innovation concept designing.

After her graduation she grounded Wandering the Future as the overarching umbrella for her activities as an international trend researcher and creative designer.

Cécile is a little obsessed with the future and aspire to be the voice of the ever-changing needs of inter-cultural humans by being a creative innovator supporting them, meeting these future demands.

Cécile her speciality is not to inspire people regarding the future, but to make themunderstand the underlying needs and the value shifts that drive change and has therewith a very unique approach to trend research.

Cécile is intrigued by teaching youngsters all over the world, the new skills they need to become succesful in the Future. This summer she taught over 40 Emirati students about Creativity & Innovation

WtF is a an ambitious, “wild at heart” trend and innovation agency founded by World wandering trend expert and creative concept developer, Cécile Cremer.

Out of a creative mind, infinite wanderlust and huge passion for the coming, Wandering the Future arise.

WtF believes people come before anything else, even before the future and it is from that point of view activities are carried out.

The method WtF uses to translate the future can be divided into three leading phases, namely:

- the analysis phase: where trends and insight are conducted.

- the ideation phase: were trends and findings are translated an proto-typed in to feasible and inspiring products, strategies or services.

- the realization phase: where bold ideas come to life by connecting to the needed dots.

For the 40 Top Notch students from the Ministery of educatuon United Arab Emirates, WtF developed a three day course from creativity to innovation.

We teach our youngsters about the past and the now, but the most important skills for the future are new skills.

In this three days course the students get a combination of knowledge & experience by not just listening to information, but by doing it themselves.

Main Task: develop a future-proof bicycle

Future focussed board-game development, based on thorough trend & market research.

Main goal to empower high-school youngsters to understand the consequences of choices they make for theFuture.

Especially the vulnerable youngsters who are dealing with automatization of their future professions.

Future-U can be seen as a tool to probe the future.

TEDX TALKT R E N D T A L K P E E K

February 2016, Cécile gave her first TedX Talk, regarding “An Indecisive Future”.

“We might still think the future is something that just happens to us, and therefor we are only aware of the present.We should lose that attitude of unawareness and start realizing the future is in our hands.”
