Greetings all,

What a month April was. Congratulations to the Honorable Lord Christopher on being recognized as a Defender of the White Scarf. Huzzah! We were so saddened to say goodbye to Cisca, Jeremy and Michael. We will miss them so and wish them the best in the next chapter in their lives. But with that goodbye we are so very thrilled to welcome back Inari (French). Even if it is for a short time it is wonderful to see her smiling face again.

Thank you to our seneschal for supplying the yummy treats at the April officers/populace meeting. Please consider sponsoring a meeting, check the calendar in this issue for dates.

Baronial Arts and Sciences Collegium is coming in June. Mistress Constance is putting together an afternoon of A and S displays and classes. If you would like to help with, or teach, a class please contacts Mistress Constance and she can point you in the right direction. More information about the event will be posted as the date gets closer. If you are planning on attending Grand Outlandish, let Leah know your camping plans. The citadel has been given a camping space and we just need to let them know how many will be there.

Clann Wars!!! Yes it is almost that time again. We are all super excited about this wonderful event. If you would like to volunteer or need more information about the event, contact Leah.

Business Meeting Minutes

Knight Marshal: Mid-Week Fighter Practice is on Wednesday at 6 PM at the home of Baroness Leah and Sir Conrade, 10704 Fury Lane. Chiurgeon: No injuries to report.

Scribe: We have been asked to give a demo for K-7 students in GISD on Friday May 11. I know that is the weekend of coronation but who could be available? Would during the morning or afternoon be preferable? Let me know. We would need fighters and A&S displays.

Arts and Sciences: We will have a Baronial Arts and Sciences Collegium in June on the 23rd from 1 P.M. – 5 P.M.. The location is the Crossland Gallery, 500 W. Paisano at Durango El Paso, Texas 79901

Chronicler: Happy to spend another day at the Crossland Gallery thinking about the Baronial Arts and Sciences and looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Rook Pursuivant: Still researching missing device and name submissions. The submissions may need to be re-submitted. I am Training a new Deputy. I have gathered 70 toys for the minister of toys.

We need displays in the following areas: scrolls, metal work, needle work, weaving, heraldry and brewing. No fires!!! Anyone who tries to start a campfire will be removed from site and sent to talk with Smoky the Bear. Get your Shakespeare on at Clann Wars. There will be fighting, laughing and even a bardic or two. If you don’t have fun at this event you are doing it wrong. Directions from Ruidoso to Sam Tobias Campground: Head west on Sudderth Drive; Turn right onto NM-48 N/ Mechem Drive; immediately adjacent to the north of the Smokey Bear Ranger Station is Cedar Creek Road (Forest road 88). Turn left on this road, follow Forest Road 88 for less than 1 mile and you will see the signs and gates for the campgrounds on your right. Follow the signs.
