N.B.—A fee of 7s. 6d. is charged for the insertion of Notices of Births, Marriages, and Deaths. FIRE AT A HOSPITAL.-Fire broke out last week in a ward of the Infectious Diseases Hospital at Oxford. The ward had been redecorated, and shortly after fires had been lighted and three patients moved in beams near a chimney were found to be on fire. The flames spread rapidly, but the patients were safely removed, and the fire brigade speedily put an end to the outbreak. A few of the helpers were slightly injured.
