PRODUCTION EDITOR / AD DESIGNER: Transitioned ofce from
Pagemaker to InDesign by setting up a new design and production
system; taught members to use system; oversaw weekly pageproduction; designed multiple ads and ad proofs for customers.
GENERAL MANAGER:Direct daily operations and long-term
development of the newspaper, including:
Advise and teach an editorial staff of +30 students on the basics ofjournalism, photography and media design;
Develop and maintain a newsroom curriculum, and create personalizedlesson plans with students receiving internship credit through the university;
Oversee and train a staff of 10 student business employees;
Meet weekly sales goals and create marketing and sales strategies;
