Point
Location fits into the plot of the story.
Plot is well thought-out with unique features and it can be part of normal life.
The audience connect to the innocent characters in the story.
Typical man vs woman scenario ( This can be predictable, however our plot has many twists and turns to make it original) Set by an actual Psychiatric hospital
which adds to the verisimilitude of the film
Believable
If the music doesn’t’ get you engaged in this film, nothing will. The music in this piece brings a much more deeper atmosphere for the scenario that the audience are witnessing at the very start and so will keep them on the edge, making them expect the un-expected.
Eerie Musical content
At times, the music is quiet, which only broadens the creepy atmosphere to when the tone changes when action takes place.
The music will help to build overall tension within the film and keep the audience enaged.
Eerie musical content
Our film cuts straight into the action. We believe this will get the audience more engaged straight from the start, rather than slowly luring them into the story like many film openings do, it will build interest, suspense and tension quickly and the audience will be able to get more into the film and make them feel as if they’re actually there
Powerful, condensed opening
Coming round now is a hand-out of a typical credit sequence that we researched that we will be using in our opening two minutes of the films
Our credit sequence
Location-White Gates, Crowthorne
Why?
Eerie Ominous Dark Reliable
When?
We are planning on filming during the Christmas Break from 6th form. This is from Friday the 19th of December to the 5th of January 2015 this will allow us enough time to film and also allow us time to deal with any problems we may face during the production and we wont have to rush allowing better quality work.
Back Up Location-Edgebarrow Woods
Why? This location provides a back-
up incase of weather conditions effecting our film shooting.
Identically the same as main location
Protection from weather conditioning
Quiet conditions, meaning lack of disruption
Here is a sample part of our script that we would be working off of if we were filming the whole duration of the film.
