Distribution StrategyActual Distribution By DestinationThe print magazine which comprises 155,000 units across 4 Editions in VIC, SA, NSW, QLD is delivered annually to 3,000 destinations. These occur in Week 2 of February each year and are all delivered via courier.

Prior to the delivery, the chosen destination will have received a personalised letter the preceding week with a copy of the Guide. Our KPI is less than 1% are refused or returned. These targets are met or exceeded.

The 2017 Guide was delivered to the following destinations:

Catholic Primary SchoolsThe bulk of the distribution is sent to Catholic primary schools. Schools receive enough copies to give every family from Grade 2 – 6 a complimentary copy. In practical terms enough copies are sent for the whole school and usually extras for staff. This strategy ensures the families at all Catholic primary schools are aware of the Catholic secondary option.

Catholics Who Are Not at Catholic Primary SchoolsCritical to many schools is reaching families who are not at Catholic primary schools. Catholic Schools Guide applies a multi-pronged strategy that has been refined over many years. CSG ships the magazine in small sets of 20+ copies to each of the following:

Spread Across The DioceseChurches: All churches requested to place these in narthex / foyer, these are picked up by older people especially grandparents wishing to have a say in where their grandchildren attend school especially when many are contributing to fees.Libraries: All libraries receive these for point of sale display and free collection.

Hot Zones Around Advertising SchoolsEarly Learning Centres: All advertising schools nominate 4 Early Learning Centres of interest.Government Primary Schools: All advertising schools nominate 4 Government Primary Schools of interest.Medical Clinics: All advertising schools nominate 1 Medical / Dental Clinic of interest.
