Akkreditierung Das Akkreditierungsbüro des Ski-Weltcup 2013 Ofterschwang/Allgäu befindet sich in der Gästeinformation Ofterschwang. Die Akkreditierungen müssen ab dem 08.03.2013 im Stadion und auf dem Streckengelände des Weltcups gut sichtbar getragen werden. Die Medienakkreditierung berechtigt zum Zutritt in das Pressezentrum im „Ofterschwanger Haus“, zu den definierten Bereichen im Stadion und der Mixed Zone sowie zur Benutzung der Pendelbusse und des Media-Shuttles. Die Akkreditierung ist Eigentum des Internationalen Skiverbandes (FIS) und kann aus bestimmten Gründen jederzeit entzogen werden. Bei Zuwiderhandlung oder unrechtmäßiger Benutzung der Akkreditierung werden die Akkreditierung und die damit verliehenen Rechte durch den Organisator entzogen. Verlust oder Diebstahl der Akkreditierung Sollten Sie Ihre Akkreditierung verlieren oder sollte sie Ihnen gestohlen werden, melden Sie dies bitte unverzüglich der Akkreditierungszentrale in der Gästeinformation Ofterschwang. Die Gebühr für die Ausstellung einer neuen Akkreditierung beläuft sich auf 20, - Euro. Akkreditierung

The accreditation center of the Ski World Cup Ofterschwang is located in the ‘Tourist Information Ofterschwang’. The accreditations have to be worn in a visible position at the stadium as well as beside the course from 8th March 2013 on. The accreditation pass entitles to entry to the media centre, designated media areas in the stadium as well as the use of the media shuttle. The accreditation pass is property of the International Ski Federation (FIS) and may be withdrawn for certain reasons at any time. Unauthorized or improper use of an accreditation pass may result in its confiscation with the rights assigned to its holder being revoked. Lost or stolen accreditation If your accreditation pass gets lost or has been stolen, please report the loss to the accreditation centre. The fee for issuing a new accreditation will be 20, - Euro. Parkplätze Die Zufahrt nach Ofterschwang ist mit dem PKW während des Weltcups nur bedingt möglich. Für Medienvertreter ist in Stadionnähe eine limitierte Anzahl reservierter Parkplätze vorhanden. Nach einer vorhergehenden Reservierung sind Parkkarten bei der Akkreditierung bzw. im Medienzentrum erhältlich. Nur in besonderen Fällen werden Parkkarten vergeben. Tipp Wir empfehlen, während des Weltcups die öffentlichen Linien- oder Media-Shuttle-Busse zu benutzen. Öffentlicher Verkehr Busse In regelmäßigen Abständen fahren öffentliche Linienbusse nach Sonthofen und Fischen (Fahrpläne siehe www.rva-bus.de). Von dort besteht eine kostenfreie Pendelbusanbindung. Pendelbusse Die Pendelbusse fahren in regelmäßigen Abständen von den Auffangparkplätzen zum Bahnhof Sonthofen und zum Skistadion Ofterschwang. Die Pendelbusse fahren zwischen 08.00 und 17.00 Uhr.

Parking The access to Ofterschwang by car is only restricted possible. Near the stadium, we will provide a limited number of reserved parking spaces for the media. The parking tickets will be available at the media centre only with advanced reservation. Only in special cases a parking ticket can be provided. Tip We recommend using public transit or media shuttle buses during the World Cup. Public transportation Busses Public busses go at regular intervals to Sonthofen and Fischen (time tables: www.rva-bus.de). From there free shuttle busses go to the stadium. Shuttle busses Shuttle busses drive at regular intervals from 08.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m. between parking lots, train station Sonthofen and the Stadium Ofterschwang. Many international TV stations will send the two days live from World Cup. The production is realised by ZDF. Total there up to 17 TV cameras in operation. ‘RSA’ is the official World Cup Radio. ‘Allgäuer Zeitung’ is the official World Cup Newspaper. Info-App Our new “Allgäu Weltcup” Information-App gives you a useful overview of the different competitions and events in the region Allgäu. For example you can find the timetables, information regarding to your arrival to the venues and so on. Moreover you will find the latest changes and results of the different events. Ofterschwang Im oberen Illertal, unter dem Höhenzug der Hörnerkette, eingebettet in sanfte Hügel und Berge liegt die Gemeinde Ofterschwang mit ihren elf Ortsteilen. Gerne wird der Ort auch als grünes Herzstück des Allgäus bezeichnet. Pistenspaß im Winter, blühende Bergwiesen im Frühjahr, kühles Quellwasser und klare Bergseen im Sommer sowie bunte Wälder und Gipfelglück im Herbst – das ist Ofterschwang! Dies zeigt sich u.a. in den Übernachtungszahlen von 17 Mio. - davon stammen 10 Prozent der Übernachtungen von ausländischen Gästen. Das Übernachtungsangebot ist im Allgäu hervorragend. Nirgendwo sonst in Bayern ist die Dichte an Wellness-Hotels so hoch wie hier. Die Kulturlandschaft mit Wiesen und Wäldern wird von Milchbauern geprägt. Die abwechslungsreiche Landschaft ist mit unzähligen Freizeiteinrichtungen hervorragend ausgestattet. In aller Welt bekannt ist das Allgäu durch das Schloss Neuschwanstein bei Füssen, das Bayernkönig Ludwig II. zur Freude von rund zwei Millionen Besuchern jährlich bauen ließ. Allgäu The Allgäu is one of the most popular holiday destinations of Germany. 17.0 million overnight lodgings demonstrate that fact. Among these lodgings there are 10 per cent visitors from foreign countries. The Allgäu provides a wide range of excellent overnight accommodations. Nowhere else in Bavaria there are so many wellness hotels concentrated in one area. Grass land and forests cultivated since ancient times are dominated nowadays by dairy farming. This scenic countryside offers numerous opportunities to spend free time. Thousands of kilometres of well maintained hiking trails, hundreds of skiing runs and cross-country tracks, cableways, outdoor activities, thermal spas and fun swimming centres. Über 450 Freiwillige sind beim Weltcup im Einsatz Eine Sportgroßveranstaltung ist ohne den Einsatz und das Engagement von freiwilligen Helfern nicht mehr denkbar. Das Organisationskomitee in Ofterschwang ist deshalb besonders froh, dass sich über 450 Ehrenamtliche gemeldet haben, um bei der Vorbereitung, bei der Durchführung und auch beim Rückbau mitanzupacken.
