What is Corporate Media?

Corporate Media is a term which refers to a system of Mass Media productions, distribution, ownership and funding which is dominated by corporations and their CEOs.

It is sometimes used as a pejorative term in places of mainstream media indicating a system which does not serves the public.

Some nations can influence and control their media greatly. In addition, powerful corporations are becoming major influences on mainstream media. In some places major multinational corporations own media stations and outlets. Moreover, even as numbers of media outlets increase, the ownership is becoming ever more concentrated as mega mergers take hold.

An informed population is crucial element to a functioning democracy.

The main reasons behind the brand’s success:

QMobile has always used celebrities in advertising its products. Pop singers Atif Aslam and Abrarul Haq have promoted QMobile phones in the past. Iman Ali has modeled for them. Hugely popular television celebrity Fawad Khan is now promoting their top-tier Noir smart phones. All these factors have helped QMobile make a name for itself as being in a league apart from the cheap Chinese copies of popular handsets currently circulating in the market. It has achieved a measure of respect as a legitimate name in the cellular phone industry.
