All TalkWe’ve decided for our short film to do a teen comedy set in a high school sixth form.

Mostly we will be filming in the sixth form social area, outside and around the school, this is because all he events happen though out a school day.

The Characters…

What’s it all about?• Set in sixth form on the first day back after the summer holidays• Three guys now in year 13 think they have pick of all the girls• A popular Girl and her friend start year 12.• Cocky boy bets geeky boy that he wont get a girlfriend by the end of

the day• Geeky guy then try's and try's to get a girlfriend through out the day

but he can never bring himself to do it.• Cocky boys act inappropriately and childish towards the girls all day• Time is slowly running out for the geek to get a girlfriend• He then gets advice from a wise teacher• He plucks up the courage and asks the girl he really likes at the end of

the day• He asks out the girl he likes, everyone thinks he is asking the popular

girl, including her but actually he is talking to her friend, the shyer one standing behind her. This is the girl he has liked all along, she agrees to go out with him.

Who will want to see?The target audience for this short film will be aimed at Teenagers aimed 15-19. I have tried to show this my all of the actors being in that age band. Also the setting and story is set in a school 6th form so a lot of people in this age band will have been just about to start 6th form, in 6th form or just left. So this makes it easier for the viewer to relate to.

Also people that will want to see and enjoy the short film will be enjoy the comedy genre as this is what the short film is based on.

Why will they want to see it?

People which will want to see the short film “All Talk” will enjoy comedy which just a straight forward. They will want to see as they will be able to relate to it as it is about everyday life with a comedy twist.

The mix of comedy with everyday event makes a good mix and creates an interesting and entertaining story. The show that are similar to this are Inbetweeners and Peep Show. So people that enjoy this sort of comedy will enjoy this.

What kind of mood or atmosphere are you going to create and how?

The atmosphere we are trying to create with our short film is a feel good and relaxed. By this we mean it’s a straight forward happy short film which will be made to make people smile and laugh

We are going to try create this mood and atmosphere by having funny dialogue and the characters have a good feel to them in the way they have nothing to hide. Also we feel that by having a setting that a lot of are target audience will recognise. So they can associate their own experience with it.

What will make it stand out from other short films and what makes it unique?

The main thing that makes are short film stand out from others I the cheeky and funny lines it has. Also are is unique to a lot of other short films as a lot of it is shot if first person and at parts the view will hear what the character is thinking.
