A European Award will be given to a project, production or initiative that highlights European collaboration.

A special award will be given to the best MEDEA entry related to Active Ageing and Solidarity between the Generations.

Teachers, students, academics, support

staff, producers and anyone who produces audiovisual media to support learning, are invited to

submit their materials to the MEDEA Awards competition.

The MEDEA Awards recognise and promote innovation and good practice in the use of digital moving images and sound in education, as well as excellence in the production and pedagogical design of

media-rich learning resources. This includes the creation and use of video in the classroom.
