Area of activities The main activity of JSC Mechanical plant Kalyazinskiy is to develop and manufacture high-performance, reliable and competitive
oilfield and drilling equipment that meets modern requirements and trends.
Process capability JSC Mechanical plant Kalyazinskiy operates the advanced test and production equipment; conducts constant expansion of its own
production base; develops the advanced engineering technologies; works closely with its partners-suppliers of components in Russia, CIS and foreign countries. This forms the technical and qualitativelevel of the created equipment.
The plant has been permanently working to expand the range of manufactured drilling equipment. The plant has the research and development center, design and technology and patent-licensing departments, which provides the development of equipment under the customer's specifications and introduce new technologies in the oil and gas industry in the following segments:
‐ mobile units for drilling and exploration.
‐ handling equipment;
‐ pipe tripping equipment,
‐ various drilling equipment;
‐ pipeline repair equipment;
The developed new equipment has no analogues among the Russian producers, has the features of novelty and is protected by patents.
Product quality At every stage of production materials, the components and assemblies are monitored and tested: material input control, control of
highly manufactured parts and components using magnetic particle and ultrasonic detection; hydraulic, static and dynamic testing of the finished equipment.
High qualification and experience of the entire team of Mechanical Plant Kalyazinskiy provide high quality of products, and our equipment is reliable with high-performance, high operational durability and ease of maintenance. This product meets all the requirements for this type of equipment.
Current production is certified according to GOST R system and has the appropriate permits issued by the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision of Russia.
Shipping and Service Production of equipment due to the convenient geographical location of the enterprise allows any kind of transportation in all regions
of Russia, CIS and foreign countries. The geography of deliveries of production of the company is constantly widening and today it covers virtually all the major oil and gas regions. The equipment manufactured by the plantis operated not only by Russian companies, but also in CIS and foreign countries, such as Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Latvia, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro, Vietnam.
The company provides warranty and post warranty service of the delivered products. Installation supervision and commissioning, engineering and technical support for commissioning and customer personnel training are performed, if necessary.

HOIST UNITS
Hoist units УПБ series units are designed for tripping and rotor drive during overhaul and reconstruction of oil and gas wells or drilling in the conditions of temperate, cold (area I2) macroclimatic region. Climatic category – УХЛ1 according to GOST 15150-69 at the ambient temperaturebetween -45 ˚С and +40 ˚С. Placement category of products – first category under GOST 15150-69.
Design features and benefits of УПБ units:
Flexible unit configuration when ordering – changing of drilling rig set in accordance with the Buyer’s order, as well as the possibility of equipping the upper attachment, winch and rotor with electric drive.
Improved serviceability and ease of maintenance – by arrangement providing easy access to the assemblies and mechanisms.
Increased ease of assembly – shortened time for installation, removal and re-installation of equipment due to modular construction and quick couplings.
Each of the rigs includes a set of security tools and unit performance monitor: safety devices, emergency drive, equipment for working at night-time conditions, equipment for working at low temperatures, safety equipment, equipment and tools for mechanization.
