    All models in this range; the Apolo plus and Hermes Lathes and the Armoni plus and Atenea Machining Centres, are supplied with Alecop’s WinUnisoft software which:

These machines are all constructed around a single block bed which provides exceptional rigidity and accuracy, guaranteeing excellent thermal and dynamic performance and repeatability. All the procedures used during design and manufacture follow international industrial practices and are complemented with enhanced safety features to protect both the user and the equipment.

    There are 3 different concepts for both Lathes and for Machining Centres. These offer table-top or fl oor standing operation, with either PC control or with dedicated industrial CNC controllers.

    A choice of industrial CNC controllers from internationally recognised suppliers; Fanuc, Fagor and Siemens is available. Alternatively, the machines controlled via a PC use Alecop’s unique software, WinUnisoft which provides an on-screen emulation of CNC controllers from Fanuc, Fagor and Siemens.

    A range options is available including VDI tools, tailstock and integral cooling which is recommended when machining HSS. Automatic tool changing and clamping allows for integration in Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) cells.

    The size of all the Alecop machines is large enough to enable the manufacture of realistic projects employing recognized industrial practices. However, they only require limited space, single-phase power, use affordable workpieces and produce a manageable amount of waste thus providing an industrially relevant and a very cost-effective and safe solution.
