• Purpose: Determine if materials in oxygen environments react when mechanically impacted
• This test covers high pressure and high temperature GOX environments, as well as LOX systems

• Typical Specimen– Liquids and solids at
minimum use thickness• Test Conditions
– LOX and GOX – Worst case temperature and
pressure• Acceptance Criteria
– 20 samples must not react when impacted at 98 J
– If one sample reacts, 40 more must be tested without reactions to pass
