FAN COIL UNITCABINET: Model SPD design for horizontal concealed ceiling. Also

available as option with plenum and aluminium filter.

COILS: Standard 3 row cooling coils insuring high dehumidification

MOTORS: Motor is fitted with life-lubricated bearing and TAP winding giving 3

speeds. It is a permanent split capacitor type.

BLOWERS: Centrifugal blower direct driven double inlet statically and dynamically

balanced with the motor.

DRAIN PAN: Galvanized and double insulated inner and outer.

AIR HANDING UNITCABINET: Powder coat painted. Only 18” high, ideally suited for concealed ceiling.

MOTOR: Inherently protected direct driven motors are mounted inside of the

insulated cabinet to reduce motor noise.

EXPANSION DEVICE: Flow control single circuit upto 5 ton and dual circuit for 71/2

ton and 10 ton.

EVAPORATOR COIL: Coils are constructed with copper tubes and aluminum fins

mechanically bonded to the tubes for maximum heat transfer.

FILTERS: One inch aluminium permanent washable filters are standard.

CONDENSING UNITCABINET : Cabinet is constructed from powder painted galvanized steel.

COMPRESSOR: Hermetically sealed with internal high temperature motor overload

protection. It is internally spring mounted and externally mounted on rubber

grommet to reduce vibration and noise.

CONDENSER COIL: Copper tube and plate aluminium fins are used on all models.

SHUT OFF VALVE: Liquid and suction service valves are standard on all models.

CABINET: Cabinets are constructed of heavily zinc coatedgalvanized steel, chemically cleaned and phosphatized to bondthe specially formulated corrosion inhibiting, polyester powdercoating.

EVAPORATOR: Evaporator coil are formed of seamless smoothsurface or inner grooved copper tubing with mechanically bondedaluminum alloy plate fin slit type.

BLOWER AND MOTOR: Belt driven steel blowers are forwardcurved, double inlet multi blade centrifugal type and are staticallyand dynamically balanced for quite operation. Belt driven unit (05-01 to 30-01), blowers are mounted on steel rigid shaft in heavyduty pillow block ball bearings and driven to desired air flow ratedand static pressure by set of V-belt and variable pitch diameterpulleys. Blower motor is internally mounted, equipped withpermanently lubricated bearing and internal overload.

AIR FILTER: Air filters are permanent and cleanable type.

OTHERS: The entire unit is thermally and acoustically insulated.

CABINET: Cabinets are constructed of heavily zinc coatedgalvanized steel, chemically cleaned and phosphatized to bondthe specially formulated corrosion inhibiting, polyester powdercoating.

EVAPORATOR: Evaporator coil are formed of seamless smoothsurface or inner grooved copper tubing with mechanically bondedaluminum alloy plate fin slit type.

BLOWER AND MOTOR: Belt driven steel blowers are forwardcurved, double inlet multi blade centrifugal type and are staticallyand dynamically balanced for quite operation. Blowers aremounted on steel rigid shaft in heavy duty pillow block ballbearings and driven to desired air flow rated and static pressure byset of V-belt and variable pitch diameter pulleys. Blower motor isinternally or externally mounted and equipped with permanentlylubricated bearing and internal over-load.

AIR FILTER: Air filters are permanent and cleanable type.

OTHERS: The entire unit is thermally and acoustically insulated.

CABINETS: Cabinets are constructed of heavily zinc coated

galvanized steel, chemically cleaned and phosphatized to bond

the specially formulated corrosion inhibiting, polyester powder

coating.

COMPRESSOR: single or Dual semi hermetic compressors are

applied together with solid state compressor motor protection.

CONDENSER COIL: condenser coils are formed of seamless

smooth surface or inner grooved copper tubing with mechanically

bonded aluminium alloy plate fin slit type.

CONDENSER FAN MOTOR: permanent split Capacitor motor with

permanently lubricated ball bearing and internal thermal protector.

ELECTRONIC OIL PRESSURE SWITCH: Protects compressor from

loss of compressor oil.

HIGH PRESSURE SWITCH: Protects compressor from excessive

condensing pressure.

LOW PRESSURE SWITCH: Protects compressor

from excessive evaporating pressure.

CRANKCASE HEATER: Protects compressor failure caused by

freezing of compressor oil.

RECYCLING TIME DELAY RELAY: Protects compressor from hard

starting condition.

Section 6

These rooftop units are complete, self contained air

conditioners fully assembled, wire, charged and tested

prior to shipment, each unit is delivered ready for

operation after simple electrical and duct connections.

This series is applicable for outdoor installation either the

roof or concrete slab, for supermarkets, shopping centers,

theatres, restaurants, office building and industrial plants.

The units are air cooled, eliminating the need for city water,

plumbing or cooling towers.

1. EVAPORATOR SECTION

Dual evaporator blowers furnish maximum cooling

efficiency over the entire surface of the deep row, copper

tube-aluminum fin evaporator coil. Statically and

dynamically balanced and belt-driven for quiet operation.

Adjustable pulleys permit the selection of precise blower

performance for various static pressure conditions. Blower

motors are fitted with inherent thermal protectors.

2. COMPRESSORS

All models are equipped with hermetic compressors

sealed against dirt and moisture. Both compressors have

an independent refrigerant circuit and include thermal and

pressure limiting devices. Compressors are provided with

crankcase heaters. All compressors are mounted on

vibration isolators for quiet operation.

3. CONDENSER SECTION

The condenser coil has a large face area for maximum

efficiency and consists of full collared aluminum fins

bonded to copper tubes. Direct-driven propeller fans

direct large volume of air through the condenser coils for

maximum cooling efficiency. Motors are permanently

lubricated, permanent split capacitor type and fitted with

inherent overload protectors.

4. CONTROLS

All Units are completely internally wired with separate

control and power supply terminals. all models are

equipped with internal compressor overload protection,

high and low pressure controls.

5. CABINET

Resistant cabinets are fabricated from heavily zinc coated

galvanized steel, chemically cleaned and phosphatized to

bond the specially formulated corrosion inhibiting

enamel. This automated process provided the unit with an

attractive and weather resistant finish.
