“VELMA”
She loves the Lord with all her might, to His very word she hangs on tight!
The Bible she knows from start to end; she shares the content with many a friend!
Her name is Velma, she’s quite the director, the meaning of Velma is “determined protector”.
And all who know her will quickly exclaim, for her there just isn’t a better name!
She teaches classes, conferences, and Bread of Life too,
With vigor and honor and using, every important clue!
She encourages others, with many a word,
And her precious words, must indeed be heard!
Her conferences are magnificent, she packs the house,
She teaches in such a way; all are as quiet as a mouse!
Her Christ loving model, is her mom, Jewel, who she
followed,
And there is nothing about either, that is at all
hollow!
She prays that through her radio broadcast, God’s
Word Alive! that many folks will indeed be blessed,
Hearing, reading, and believing, are many of
things that are best,
And by feeling, embracing, and loving, the sacred
Word of God,
The rewards are huge and eternal, and with that
we’ll give a nod!
She has a sense of humor, with such an affection
for folks,
She laughs, and loves, and sometimes, will even tell
you jokes!
But even with her many gifts, and the way she can
light up a stage,
She’ll never, ever, not at all, tell anyone her age!
