APPLICATIONSAPPLICAZIONI

The MCHA – device is used to execute non-destructive cross-hole type controls and measurements in foundations elements according to the Norm: ASTM D676O-O2.

Furthermore the device, with optional kits, can be used also for sonic and ultrasonic measurements in respect of the Standard: UNI EN 12504-4, ASTM D2845-08 and ASTM C597-02 and for testing foundation piles by “Low Strain Impact Integrity testing” and “Pulse echo test” in respect of the Norm: ASTM D5882-O7.

L’apparecchiatura MCHA è in grado di effettuare controlli non distruttivi di tipo cross-hole in elementi di fondazione nel rispetto delle normative ASTM D6760-02.

Inoltre può essere impiegata per l’esecuzione di indagini ultrasoniche e soniche per la caratterizzazione di materiali nel rispetto delle normative UNI EN 12504-4, ASTM D2845-08 and ASTM C597-02 .

EQUIPMENTSSTRUMENTAZIONE

The MCHA – Device encompasses a Central Data Acquisition Unit, a Laptop Personal Computer and various dedicated piezoelectric sensors and probes.

The Acquisition Unit is characterized by an A/D board multichannel 16-bit-channels and selectable sampling rates from 1OOHz – 2 MHz and is also provided with high tension pulses one will found an.

All acquired signals are displayed, computed and memorized directly on the Unit’s PC with pre-installed MCH-sonic v.2.2.3. software. The connection between Central Data Acquisition Unit and the PC is ETHERNET LAN1O/1OO.

LA strumentazione è’ composta da una centralina d’acquisizione dati, da un personal computer portatile e da una serie di sensori e sonde da foro di tipo piezoelettrico con trasmettitore ad alta potenza e ricevitori pre-amplificati.

L’unità di ’acquisizione è composta da una scheda A/D multicanale a 16 bit con frequenza massima di 2 MHz in grado di generare impulsi ad alta tensione.

Tutti i segnali acquisiti sono visualizzati, elaborati e memorizzati direttamente su un PC corredato di software MCH-sonic v.2.2.3 collegato direttamente alla centralina mediante cavo ETHERNET LAN10/100.

The MCHA-Device allows performing simultaneously cross-hole measurements along three paths of foundation pile drastically reducing the acquisition time: during the same measurement 3 well logs corresponding to the three paths are recorded. The system also manage synchronization impulse using an encoder.

At the end of each test all result can promptly be printed out to the benefit of the customer. Thank to the high power trasmitter and to the high sensitivity of the active-type piezoelectric receivers (8O kHz), the MCHA-Device allows to make measurements in foundation piles farther apart than 3 meters.The MCHA-Device can also be used for sonic and ultrasonic measurements on materials. The pulse’s transmission power of the transmitters (resonance frequency 55 kHz or 2O kHz) and the highly sensitive active piezoelectric receivers allow undertaking measurements on sample materials, e.g. rock, concrete, wood, plastic materials, resins, etc...or directly on construction sites.

The MCHA-Equipment can be integrated with a HAMMER-Transducer, used when the energy of the piezoelectric transmitters is not enuogh. The right use of this device is deal on materials with low propagation characteristics (like “monumental” masonry) and/or materials of very large size.

An option kit “MCHA-PIT” with a PIT-Hammer and Accelerometer, allows performing the piles test with Low Strain Integrity and Echo methods. Solgeo software “PPS” is include for data processing and report.

L’apparecchiatura consente di effettuare la prova cross-hole contemporaneamente lungo tre percorsi di misura riducendo drasticamente il tempo di esecuzione delle prove. Il sistema gestisce la sincronizzazione degli impulsi di energizzazione mediante un sistema di guida con encoder.

Al termine di ogni test è possibile stampare immediatamente i risultati della prova e fornire al Committente il certificato di prova. L’elevata energia del trasmettitore (>1,6Kv) e l’elevata sensibilità dei ricevitori piezoelettrici (80 KHz nominale), consentono di effettuare misure all’interno delle fondazioni con distanze tra i tubi superiori a 3 m.La potenza di trasmissione dei trasmettitori piezoelettrici da parete a 55 e 20 KHz, e la elevata sensibilità dei ricevitori piezoelettrici, consentono di effettuare misure sia, su provini di laboratorio anche di grandi dimensioni (in materiali quali calcestruzzo , rocce , materiali plastici, vetroresina, legno, ecc…), sia per indagini in sito su pilastri e travi in calcestruzzo o materiali lapidei, edifici civili o monumentali.L’apparecchiatura può essere integrata con il sistema di trasmissione sonico con martello strumentato per effettuare misure laddove le caratteristiche dei materiali da indagare ( ad es. murature a sacco ) siano scadenti o o le distanze da percorrere siano elevate.

Il kit Opzionale MCHA-PIT dotato di un Martello e di un accelerometro, permette di eseguire test su pali metodo Low Strain Integtity e Echo methods. Il SW Solgeo PPS è incluso per il processing dei dati e la restituzione grafica.
