&Beyond Bateleur Camp Masai Mara National Park – Kenya Situated below the location where Out of Africa’s famous final scene was filmed, this romantic and totally private camp reflects the ambience of Kenyan safaris of the 20’s and 30’s. &Beyond Bateleur Camp at Kichwa Tembo, the epitome of tented luxury, is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and comprises just two intimate camps of nine tented suites each, set among the forests on the edge of the Masai Mara. &Beyond Serengeti Under Canvas Serengeti National Park – Tanzania &Beyond Serengeti Under Canvas reaches far beyond the bounds of the traditional Tanzanian safari – the sumptuously luxurious tented, seasonal camps move around the Serengeti year round, bringing guests within range of the Great Migration. When the Migration crosses over into Kenya, the camps remain in the remote, beautiful corners of the Serengeti, renowned for excellent resident game. The Manor at Ngorongoro Crater Karatu – Tanzania Reminiscent of a country farm with quaint Cape Dutch-style architecture, The Manor at Ngorongoro Crater lies within the Shangri-La estate, surrounded by lovely gardens amidst the natural splendour of Tanzania. Sumptuous cottages boast ensuite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor fireplaces and private decks. Meals are sumptuous affairs to be savoured in the formal dining room, the dining conservatory or privately in the guest cottages. African-inspired fare is complemented with a selection of fine wine from the manor's own cellar. Guests can relax and unwind in the sauna and steam room, try their hand in the snooker room or read one of the many books from the library whilst lounging in front of a cosy fireplace. Adventures include excursions to Lake Manyara and Olduvai Gorge, visits to a Masai Market, guided estate walks and bicycle trails along the Ngorongoro Crater.

Trip Summary and Cost – Depart May 24, Arrive New Orleans June 5 Thirteen Days, including your international travel. Round trip flights from Nairobi require two stops, through Atlanta and Amsterdam with prices ranging from $1300-$2000 per person, amount depending on your layovers. This is through &Beyond which owns their own lodges and vehicles. Their open air land rovers are the best way to view game and their guides are excellent. Food and beverages are included at most lodges. What is additional are specialty experiences such as hot-air ballooning, gratuities, premium liquor and wines. Visas and inoculations are additional.
