Mc Laughlin MCL54/60 Auger Boring Machine

The Machine is completely inspected and tested by authorized Vermeer technicians. We inspect, repair and test all relevant systems, such as the engine, the electrical system, the hydraulic system, all mechanics and the overall functions and details, following the official McLaughlin guidelines while using only original McLaughlin parts. McL-54/60 175 HP turbo charged air-cooled Deutz diesel powered engine is the most powerful auger boring machine in the McLaughlin line. This heavy duty unit develops a massive 950,000 lbs. (4,225,810.52 N) forward thrust and 170,000 ft. lbs. (230,489.0515 Nm) peak auger torque for case boring up to 54” Electromagnetic clutch, 5-speed transmission with reverse, planetary reduction final drive and 4” hex chuck. Other features include extended triple-cylinder stroke and auto hydraulic dog plate to increase boring efficiency and speed. The split design reduces weight to ease machine positioning, E-Z glide quick extension tracks.
