APP Early Journey

1972Tjiwi Kimia didirikan oleh Mr. Eka Tjipta Widjaja dan mengawali operasinya sebagai pabrik caustic

soda.

January 1975Pindo Deli beroperasi di Karawang, Jawa Barat.

December 1976Indah Kiat dibentuk sebagai satu gabungan perusahaan antara CV Berkat dari Indonesia dengan Chung

Hwa Pulp Corporation dan Yuen Foong Yu Paper Manufacturing Company Ltd. dari Taiwan.

1978Tjiwi Kimia mulai menghasilkan kertas sebesar 12,000 tons/tahun.

April 1979Indah Kiat Tangerang Paper Machine 1 dan 2 mulai berproduksi 100 ton/hari jenis kertas Wood Free

(WF).

March 1984Indah Kiat Perawang Pulp Machine 1 mulai berproduksi (bleached hardwood kraft pulp) dengan

kapasitas 250 tons/hari.
