Cornerstone Life Ministries News: Recreation Ministry is sponsoring a trip to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to see the hit musical “The Lion King,” on Sunday, July 20, 2014. Ticket information is available at the Information Center. The Young Adult Ministry (Y.A.M.) will host “Spoken Word,” on Wednesday, May 28th at 7:00 p.m. There will be a special presentation on that night given by Howard University students on their mission trip to Ghana. Men’s Ministry – Sunday, June 8, 2014 is Men’s Day (both services)

Membership & Spiritual Development Ministry News: Sickle Cell Sabbath is returning again this year on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Drew Model School (3500 South 23rd Street, Arlington, Va.). This worship service is in collaboration with the American Red Cross, which will accept your blood donations for sickle cell patients, who require multiple blood transfusions to help control this painful disease.
