What is attestation?

Its a stamp and signature of a government employee of BS 17 or

above.

The Equivalence Formula

O Levels Equivalence: for e.g. if you get

4A*s 1A in IGCSE (Math, English,

Biology, Physics, Chemistry) so your

equivalence will be:

Math A*= 90/100

English A = 85/100

Biology A* = 90/100

Physics A*= 90/100

Chemistry A* = 90/100

Total = 445/500

Equivalence Marks = 445/500 × 900 = 801/900

Equivalence Percentage = 801/900 × 100 = 89%

A Levels Equivalence: for e.g. if you get AAB in your A levels (Biology, Physics,

Chemistry), your equivalence will combine both your O and A levels grades

IGCSE: Math A*= 90/100

English A = 85/100

Biology A* = 90/100

Physics A*= 90/100

Chemistry A* = 90/100

A Levels: Biology A = 85/100

Physics B = 75/100

Chemistry A = 85/100

Total = 690/800

Equivalence Marks = 690/800 × 1100 = 949/1100

Equivalence Percentage = 949/1100 × 100= 86.27%

o Appear for SAT II/MDCAT.

o Get your equivalence done.

o Make sure you have your domicile certificate and CNIC

ready.

o Register on the web portal of UHS on Bank of Punjab’s

website.

o Upload scanned copies of all documents and fill in all the

required detail.

o Preview and submit your application.

o Print your application (a challan form gets printed along

with it)

o Visit any branch of BOP (in person) along with final

copy of your application, challan form and Original

CNIC/Smart Card to get your biometric verification done

and submit the application processing fee.

o UHS will display provisional aggregate merit lists.

o Portal re opens for submission of preferences. (Advice:

those female candidates with an aggregate of 89 – 91% can

add FJMU to their preference list for a higher chance of

admission in Lahore as its a women only university so no

competition with boys!)

o Display of Selection List (1st Merit List)

What to expect after your name appears in the merit list of a

certain college?

Well, you’ll have to visit the college you’ve been admitted into

and submit an admission fee along with the following

documents:

These are the documents my college asked for when I submitted

my admission fee. Your college will also provide you with a list

like this through email.

• Its okay not to have all these documents at the time of

admission. You can submit them once your classes start.

• The surety bond and affidavit specimen can be found at the

end of your prospectus for admission session 2020

• Some colleges (e.g. RMU) ask for a certificate from Overseas

Pakistanis to confirm that they’ve lived abroad during their

O/A Levels. This document has to be stamped from the

Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh. You’ll find that form on

page no. 75 of UHS Prospectus 2018 and I’ve also attached it

below.
