Come September the Schulich School of Business will be offering MBA course right here in India.

Collaboration instituteThe renowned business school of York University will be conducting the programme in collaboration with GMR Varalakshmi Foundation at Hyderabad.

Highlights of the Programme•Course duration is two years•Accredited by the AICTE•Professors of the institute will travel to Hyderabad to teach all the courses in the first year•The second year will be taught at the University campus in Canada•The programme is priced at $60,000

Admissions•Minimum eligibility criteria is a three year graduate degree with masters or four graduate degree•Students must have three years of relevant work experience •Applicants must have acceptable GMAT scores•Extracurricular activities, community service and management/entrepreneurial experience are given due importance during admission•Two recommendations

Response from MBA studentsThe response for the programme has been good as 30 students have already enrolled for it. The cost being less than the complete programme at Canada campus by $10,000, many consider it a feasible option than going abroad to get a degree.
